Great opportunity: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Washington County, Oregon. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing The role involves: • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
