Concrete labourer • Clay County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Clay County, Illinois. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. Day to day you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
