Cnc lathe setter wanted in McLean County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in McLean County, Kentucky. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
