Tig welder wanted in Traill County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Traill County, North Dakota. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time, day shift.
