Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Roane County, West Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity.
