Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Union County, North Carolina. Day to day you will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
