Concrete shuttering carpenter — Salt Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. You will fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Six days a week, one day off.
