We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Latah County, Idaho. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Day to day you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
