Punch press operator wanted in Jefferson Davis Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on the press shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely 4+ years on the tools preferred.
