Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Holmes County, Florida. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
