Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Marquette County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
