Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Monona County, Iowa. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. On the job you will handle: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Driving licence for travel between sites 1+ years on the tools preferred.
