Now hiring: lawn care technician (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Johnston County, North Carolina. You will be based at a plant nursery. Day to day you will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
