Now hiring: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Hancock County, Mississippi. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. On the job you will handle: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
