Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
