Urgent requirement: MIG welder (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Scott County, Illinois. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
