Escalator technician • Monroe County, Georgia

Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in Monroe County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate You will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
