Fabricator-welder wanted in Cleburne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Cleburne County, Arkansas. You will be based on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
