Motor grader operator • Washington County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Washington County, New York. The job is at a plant hire yard. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
