Now hiring: we are hiring an assembly line worker in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. You will be based in a packaging and assembly workshop. On a typical shift you will carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts; solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line; tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away.
