We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Iroquois County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
