The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
