Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Texas County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine 3+ years on the tools preferred.
