Counter butcher wanted in Montgomery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Montgomery County, New York. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Your main tasks: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Six days a week, one day off.
