Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Callaway County, Missouri. Day to day you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
