CO2 welder wanted in Pender County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Pender County, North Carolina. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
