MIG/MAG welder — Katsina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Katsina, Katsina State. You will be based on a structural steel site. You will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
