Brick and block layer • Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon, Northern Ireland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon, Northern Ireland. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. 6+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
