Tyre service technician wanted in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Punctual and willing to work weekends Your main tasks: • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
