Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Val Verde County, Texas. The job is in a busy laundry. Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
