Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile roofer in Siskiyou County, California. You will be based at a sheet metal roofing workshop. The role involves: • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
