Overlocker operator wanted in Causeway Coast and Glens

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Causeway Coast and Glens, Northern Ireland. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently We offer £2,350 per month plus benefits.
