Road roller operator wanted in North Lanarkshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a road roller operator in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will be based in an open-cast mine. You will work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; check for underground cables and services before digging. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Part-time with flexible hours.
