Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Meals and transport allowance provided.
