Pipe TIG welder wanted in Douglas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Douglas County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
