Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Nassau County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Nassau County, Florida. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
