Plant operator • Florence County, Wisconsin

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Florence County, Wisconsin. The job is in a CNC machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Part-time with flexible hours.
