Foundry operative — Winn Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Winn Parish, Louisiana. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
