Precision welder • Marengo County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Marengo County, Alabama. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
