Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher On a typical shift you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
