Fabricator-welder — Bristol County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Bristol County, Massachusetts. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE Full-time, day shift.
