Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Buckingham County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
