We are recruiting: acoustic insulation fitter (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Westmoreland County, Virginia. The job is on a construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding Requirements: • Willing to travel between sites • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Six days a week, one day off.
