Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Midlothian, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
