Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Gwoza, Borno State. The job is on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds You will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around ₦275,000 per month, based on your experience.
