Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Cascade County, Montana. Day to day you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
