Gas metal arc welder wanted in Renfrewshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator 6+ years on the tools preferred.
