Gas pipeline fitter • Essex County, New Jersey

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Essex County, New Jersey. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. On the job you will handle: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
