Great opportunity: sheet metal press operator (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Rowan County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
