Lift technician • Burt County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift technician in Burt County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy lift company. The role involves: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
